Pokémon HOME(2020/01/29 00:00)
You can trade in Pokemon games on Switch and you can Trade in Home trough the smartphone.
It not that big of a deal.

Pokémon HOME is more than just cloud storage. If you are equating the price of it to just the amount of bytes stored you are missing
a) What cloud storage is
b) How the internet/networking works
c) What Pokémon HOME isCome on guys, let's not peddle that nuts narrative.

Also, in case you missed it, using HOME you can transfer from Let's Go, Pikachu into Let's Go, Eevee! or vice versa, but the second those Pokémon hit SWSH then they can't go back into Let's Go.

Pokémon HOME
• Basic: 30 slots for Pokémon storage
• Premium: 6,000 slots for Pokémon storage (2x the amount Bank has)But… it costs $15.99/year for Premium… that pricetag is absurd, I cannot for the life of me find that reasonable
— Matt (@mattyoukhana_) January 28, 2020
To me, I might stick with the basic plan for Pokemon Home, then probably move to the 12 month plan later on

I imagine only the most hardcore are going to pay $16 a year for Home? Most people will probably get the $3 month to transfer their Pokémon to Sword & Shield and then cancel the subscription until the next game comes along
Unless you really need 6000 PkMn chilling in limbo

Honestly i'm fine paying with the pokemon home price since its like £12 a year here. I get that some people are mad about it since it's like 3x the amount pokemon bank was but i'll probably still get it eventually lmao
— Upsilon (@1Upsilon) January 28, 2020
I’d be completely fine with the dlc price if the main game was either same price as older games or if it wasn’t a rushed mess with less features than past games
the pokemon home price is absolutely inexcusable. $21 for a glorified transfer system…..

Pokémon Home 16 euros al año… y teniendo a parte Espada y Escudo/Let's Go, el online de Switch y el Pase de Expansión de Espada y Escudo… Game Freak, ¿por qué nos haces esto?

30 mon for free, 6000 when paid. Sounds good.
But this is where my first and maybe biggest problem occurs. You can trade up from bank, but never back down. So if you trade everything up for HOME's natdex, several hundred become unusable dust collectors in HOME.— CritsKrieger (@CritsKrieger) January 28, 2020

¹ Nintendo Switch Online
² Pokemon Home
³ Pokemon BankAll the last 2 services just to transfer pokemon and the first one to play online.
